Virat Kohli

India skipper Virat Kohli on Friday registered his 26th Test century and as a result, became the fastest to score 40 international hundreds as captain.

Also, Kohli is now only second to Ricky Ponting in the list of most international hundreds as a skipper. Ponting had scored 41 centuries as the captain for Australia in international cricket.

Virat achieved the record feat on Day 2 of the second Test match against South Africa at the Mumbai Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. He brought up his ton in the 109th over of India’s first innings.
