On Saturday, West Indies’ opening batsman, Chris Gayle celebrated his 40th birthday. Known for his explosive batting, Gayle holds the record for most sixes in international cricket.

‘Universe Boss’ featured in 462 international matches, scoring a total of 19,321 runs. After the third ODI against India last month, Gayle quashed all rumors about his retirement.

Gayle is currently playing in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL 2019), leading the Jamaica Tallawahs squad. Earlier this week on Sunday (Sept 15), Gayle completed 13,000 runs in T20 cricket.
